What makes Chrissy different?
In 2011, well over a decade into my financial career, we lost our first born to a stillbirth at full term. My lens on the world changed. Suddenly the old pattern of living the societal and industry expectations seemed so silly. What about how I saw business? and my life? What about what is right for me?
Since then I’ve jumped off the corporate ladder, cut my puppet strings and gone against the grain. Blending my practical accountant side (CPA CA) and intuitive edge allowing me to grow from challenges and harness them to create a life and business I love.
My entrepreneurial journey started in 2020 (yup, that year), when everyone told me it was a bad idea to start a business during a pandemic. I did it anyway. Integrating studies in grief recovery, embodied spirituality, trauma of money, and human design. Not your typical accountant. Actually, if you ask me about tax, my eye will glaze over. Don’t ask me about tax. OK maybe just the basics.
In 2022, I experienced personal challenges where my default urged me to “hustle” and “compromise my wellbeing for money”. My husband left his job unplanned just 2 months after losing my mom and grandmother 2 weeks apart. Grief stricken and now the sole income of a debt load for two incomes with 2 young kids. I defied my conditioning and listened to the whispers of my intuition. I chose to prosper through these challenges.
